the 1hr ferry boat ride to the land of absolute cheapness was a downer. the search for white shoes was called off after there was nothing of that sort there. no one told me that kids in batam wear black school shoes instead of white, sheesh.

here's the thing. the shoes are out of stock (like can you believe it?) i went almost everywhere i could think of (10 places already) and everyone of them said the same thing: no stock for sizes 37-40. man, what rotten luck i have. the supplier told me that the bloody shipment will come only on the 2nd week of may, which is waaay too long for me.

im still searching for the shoes, so if u do know where to get them, pray tell.

heading down to beachrd, lavender, angmokio and toapayoh tomoro. if all else fails, across the causeway i go. this is how it feels like to panic, trust me.
